The Greater Des Moines Partnership’s eighth annual Inclusion Summit is planned for Tuesday, following up on the monthlong, recently completed 21-Day Equity Challenge. The summit will aim to generate a community conversation about going beyond the work of diversity and inclusion and beginning a path to equity. The summit, Rising to the Equity Challenge, is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sessions will include three keynote speakers, and participants will hear from a panel of young leaders on equity issues in the community. There will also be an opportunity to discuss issues such as housing, health care, employment, justice and wealth. This year’s Inclusion Award winners also will be announced.
