Information session to be held Oct. 15 for 2021 Community Connect program
The Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute is now accepting applications for the 2021 Community Connect program, which begins in February. The Community Connect program inspires and teaches participants that leveraging their purpose and passions improves their lives and their community. Thirty program participants will move through a virtual six-session curriculum of self-discovery, while mentors provide guidance and connections that encourage community engagement. Interested potential applicants are invited to learn more about the program at a virtual informational session on Thursday, Oct. 15, starting at 5 p.m. Registrations for this free event as well as program applications are currently being accepted at this link on the institute’s website.
