Information technology workers in demand
Four percent of chief information officers in a region made up of Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota plan to hire information technology (IT) staff in the third quarter of 2012, according to the Robert Half Technology IT Hiring Index & Skills Report. The region scored three points above the national average of 1 percent. Seven percent of executives plan to add IT staff and 3 percent expect cutbacks. The majority of those surveyed plan no change in hiring, according to the report.
