Inman promoted, Cross joins outdoors foundation
Hannah Inman, pictured, has been named CEO of Great Outdoors Foundation, and Jen Cross will join the staff as vice president of donor relations. Inman recently led fundraising for the $10.3 million Jester Park Nature Center project and has led the early work in raising money for the $117 million water trails network in Greater Des Moines. Inman was awarded the Greater Des Moines Leadership Vision Award in 2015 and was a Business Record Forty Under 40 honoree in 2016. “Hannah has proven herself an exceptional leader, greatly expanding the capacity of the Great Outdoors Foundation and playing a significant role in advancing a series of critical local and regional initiatives of great benefit to conservation and community,” said Pat Boddy, chairwoman of the Great Outdoors Foundation board. “Her passion for conservation and water health are exactly what we need.” Cross has worked at Catch Des Moines as director of development and partnerships since 2014 and is a graduate of the Community Leadership Program through Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute. “As we are realizing our vision, we know we need to expand our capacity,” Inman said. “We need a dynamic leader passionate about the future of conservation in Iowa. Jen fits that. She is an up and coming leader who will broaden and deepen the impact of conservation and outdoor recreation in Iowa.”
