The second Innovation EXPO 2012 will be held on Sept. 18 at the Coralville Marriott, 300 E. Ninth St., Coralville. The event will include opportunities for start-up companies to pitch to judges and investors, and offer a convention-like setting of start-ups and inventors.

Last year’s event drew a crowd of about 450 people, officials said.

The EXPO is organized by the Technology Association of Iowa, the Iowa Capital Investment Corp., the Entrepreneurial Development Center Inc. and the University of Iowa John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center. For more information, click here.
