Insurance agency buys Waukee office building
Miller, Fidler & Hinke Insurance Agency, doing business as D.O. Double G LLC, paid 2540 Encompass Investment Group LLC $2.2 million on Sept. 25 for an office building at 2450 S.E. Encompass Drive in Waukee, Dallas County recorder records show. The two-story office building is part of 12.4 acres Daniel Pettit is developing at S.E. Tallgrass Lane and Grand Prairie Parkway. Construction of a dentist office is completed. Construction of a two-story 18,750- square-foot office building and an 88,000-square-foot office and event center with attached restaurant is underway. Miller, Fidler & Hinke Insurance Agency, with about 14 employees, will occupy the entire office building.

IPE1031 REV313 LLC of West Des Moines paid GDM Properties LLC $850,000 on Sept. 30 for a three-story apartment building (pictured) at 2900 Cottage Grove Ave., Des Moines, Polk County recorder records show. The 117-year-old building, with 23 apartment units, is valued at $798,000, Polk County assessor records show.

MHEC Land Trust Des Moines paid Bierman Investments LLC $767,500 on Sept. 27 for a 5,830-square-foot office building at 5515 N.W. 88th St., Johnston, records show. The building, constructed in 2000, is valued at $653,000.

Axiom Grays Lake LLC of Franktown, Colo., paid MIMG LIV Grays Lake LLC $20.9 million on Sept. 24 for an apartment complex at 2800 Fleur Drive in Des Moines. The complex, with more than 300 units, was built in phases between 1964 and 1966, records show. It is valued at nearly $12 million, records show.
