Three Iowa authors will be honored during the Des Moines Public Library Foundation’s 2022 Iowa Author Awards Dinner that will be held at 6 p.m. on Oct. 14 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Des Moines Downtown. Authors who will be honored are Art Cullen, a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist from Storm Lake; Heather Gudenkauf, a New York Times and USA Today best-selling author who lives in Dubuque; and Nate Staniforth, a magician who grew up in Ames and is a University of Iowa graduate and has written an autobiography.
