Iowa saw a “very healthy” Business Conditions Index of 64.7 in February, reports economist Ernie Goss of Creighton University. That’s up from 59.4 in January; anything above 50 suggests growth. The monthly survey of supply managers in nine states found Iowa’s new export orders at 67.5, another indication of health, Goss said. The regional index stood at 62.1, up from 59.7, the 16th straight month in growth territory.
