The Iowa Business Council this week elected its officers for 2021-22, naming Tim Yaggi as chair. Yaggi, the president and CEO of Pella Corp., takes over from retiring chair Mary Andringa of Vermeer Corp. Other officers elected this week include:
• Vice chair: Phil Jasper, president of Mission Systems at Collins Aerospace. 
• Treasurer: John Sorensen, president and CEO of the Iowa Banker’s Association. 
• Secretary: Joe Murphy, Iowa Business Council executive director.
The Iowa Business Council offered its thanks to retiring members, including Andringa, John Forsyth of Wellmark Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Steve Lacy of Meredith Corp, and Susan Thompson of UnityPoint. It also welcomed new members, who included Jason Andringa, president and CEO of Vermeer Corp., Cory Harris, president and COO/CEO-elect of Wellmark, and Tom Harty, president and CEO of Meredith Corp.
