The Lokoly Coffee Club is partnering with four small-batch coffee roasters from across the state to create a limited-time offering, the “Iowa Coffee Tour” specialty coffee box. To create the box, Lokoly has collaborated with Ross Street Roasting in Tama, Windmill Coffee in Ames, Euphoria Coffee in West Union, and Swed & Co. Coffee in Fort Madison. Bozz Prints, a print shop in West Des Moines, will add a “Layers of Iowa” coffee mug to round out the box. “2020’s been a hard year for the coffee community,” said Lokoly co-founder Nicholas Hanstad. “Because we’re based in Des Moines and from Iowa, we wanted to do something special to give back to our local economy and strengthen our local community.” Five dollars from the sale of each Iowa Coffee Tour Box will be donated directly to the Food Bank of Iowa.
