Commercial real estate professionals received recognition Tuesday during the Iowa Commercial Real Estate Expo for their deals, contributions and impact on the industry. Beau Braunger of NAI United Sioux City was honored for the top deal of more than $5 million in value, while Justin Lossner of JLL received the award for the top deal of less than $5 million. Dave Brown of IPE 1031 received the Industry Impact award. Richard Hurd, founder of Hurd Real Estate Services, was recognized as Broker of the Year. Austin Hedstrom of CBRE|Hubbell Commercial is the Rising Star of 2016. Mark Patterson of the Polk County assessor’s office received the Lifetime Achievement award in recognition of the 20 years he has worked on the expo.
