Iowa Health System was among the Iowa-based companies named to the 2011 InformationWeek 500, a listing of the nation’s most innovative users of business technology. Also making the list were Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Co. and Principal Financial Group Inc. Other companies with major Iowa operations on the list were Deere & Co., Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. and Wells Fargo & Co. Des Moines-based Iowa Health System was recognized for its recent initiative to make its board meetings paperless through the use of table computers and a Web-based content management system, the company said in a press release.
