Iowa Energy Center gives $1.5 million to energy projects
The Iowa Energy Center said today that it allocated $1.5 million in the last year to 46 projects involving bioenergy, renewable energy, energy efficiency and education and outreach. Those projects contributed to 36 professional journal publications and two pending patents. The center approved 72 new loans from its revolving fund. The Iowa Energy Center, which promotes and researches energy efficiency and alternative energy, also released its annual report today.
