Iowa entrepreneurs more optimistic than global peers
A report by the Entrepreneurs Organization found that Iowa business leaders are more optimistic than their peers around the globe, based on a September survey report. Iowa entrepreneurs saw a smaller percentage increase in the number of full-time employees added in the last six months, but they saw bigger gains in revenue and profit. Despite uncertainty in the global economy, 81.6 percent of 4,500 respondents from 47 countries reported a willingness to start a business in their current economic environment. That was up from 79 percent in March.
