Projects, programs and an individual have received HousingIowa Awards for advancing affordable housing development in the state. The city of Davenport received the single-family development award for Riverview on 6th, the city’s first urban subdivision; Affordable Housing Network Inc. received the multifamily development award for Monroe Place in Cedar Rapids; the city of Iowa City received the innovation award for its affordable housing action plan; the Muscatine Center for Social Action received the special needs award for the project “Permanent Supportive Housing Creation via Community Collaboration.” Kim Gordon of Affordable Housing Network in Cedar Rapids received the Kay Anderson Friend of Iowa Award. Click here for more information on the awards.
