Iowa GDP growth slowed to 0.4 percent last year
Iowa’s gain in gross domestic product slowed to 0.4 percent in 2014, ranking 45th in the country, the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis reported. The growth in the three prior years had ranged from 2.2 percent to 3.4 percent. Construction, finance and insurance contributed the most the last year’s gains, the agency reported.
