Iowa’s mobile home park residents would receive more notice of upcoming rent increases and of a landlord's decision not to renew a lease, as well as additional protections under a bill that a half-dozen Republican lawmakers have proposed.

Des Moines Register: Iowa’s mobile home park residents would receive more notice of upcoming rent increases and of a landlord’s decision not to renew a lease, as well as additional protections under a bill that a half-dozen Republican lawmakers have proposed. The bill, House File 442, comes as out-of-state companies have purchased several Iowa mobile home parks, and as some of the companies dramatically increased tenants’ rents.
