Iowa income tax filing deadline pushed to June 1; those who got unemployment get break

Des Moines Register: Iowans will not have to file their individual state income taxes until June 1, and many will not need to pay taxes on unemployment insurance benefits they received last year. Iowa Department of Revenue Director Kraig Paulsen signed an order today that pushes the deadline back from April 30 to the beginning of June. The change does not apply to businesses.
