The Iowa League of Cities, a nonprofit that represents more than 850 cities in Iowa, will host a conference of local city leaders to connect with legislators and discuss legislative priorities. Speakers representing Cedar Rapids, Atlantic, Bettendorf and Seymour will join Monte Wyatt of AddingZeros and Scott Raecker of Drake University’s Robert D. and Billie Ray Center to speak on fiscal predictability, efficient governance and protecting local democracy, according to a news release.
