Des Moines Register: Efforts to give mobile home park residents more notice of rent increases and several other protections have hit a roadblock in the form of the industry lobby once again this year, Iowa lawmakers said Thursday. Lawmakers from both parties said the legislation has come to a halt due to negotiation issues with the Iowa Manufactured Housing Association, the lobbying group that represents the mobile home industry.
