Iowa Ortho, which provides a range of orthopedic care, is planning a 58,580-square-foot foot surgery center and medical campus at 3201 S.E. 37th St. in Grimes. The building will primarily be constructed of red brick veneer. The site, which will be accessed from Southeast 35th Street, Southeast 37th Street and Northwest 100th Street, will include a total of 324 parking spaces for patients and center staff. Part of the physician’s staff parking will be covered by a canopy. The Grimes City Council on Tuesday approved the site plan for the proposed development. The building will be constructed by Downing Construction. It was designed by Downing’s architectural staff.
