Iowa PBS announces new executive director, general manager

Batt, who has served as director of production and programming at Iowa PBS since 2022, brings nearly 20 years of experience in programming development throughout the PBS system. In the new role, Batt will oversee all network activities and report to the governor on the organization’s activities. The outgoing director, Molly Phillips, is set to begin her planned retirement on Jan. 31, with Batt assuming his new role on Feb. 2.
