Iowa posts worst state GDP change in second quarter

65 wordsAll Latest News, Statewide NewsThe U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis today reported that Iowa’s 0.7 percent drop in gross domestic product between the first and second quarters of this year was the worst among U.S. states. The only other state to post a drop in real GDP was South Dakota at 0.3 percent. North Dakota posted the biggest percentage gain at 8.3 percent. Read the full news release.
