Iowa ranks ninth in nation for obese residents
The latest Gallup-Healthways Wellbeing Index reported that 31.3 percent of Iowans are obese — a category indicating their weight could be a health risk. Last year, the same poll found that 29 percent of us were obese and ranked us 10th in the category.
