Iowa reports more than 10,000 new COVID-19 cases for third straight week

Des Moines Register: The number of new COVID-19 cases reported in Iowa over the past week declined slightly, but remained over 10,000 for the third consecutive week — the first time Iowa has reported more than 10,000 new cases in three straight weeks since last year. The 10,812 new cases reported Wednesday — an average of 1,545 per day — bring Iowa’s total to 451,492 cases since the start of the pandemic.
