Des Moines Register: Public health officials said this week there were no signs in Iowa of the escalating coronavirus outbreak, which has killed hundreds in China. A person-to-person transmission between a married couple was reported Thursday in Chicago. Still, as the U.S. State Department warned against visits to China and airlines suspended flights there, Iowa’s major universities said Friday they were restricting travel to China, and other institutions and businesses began taking precautions.
