Iowa set a record for most new business filings for the fourth straight year, Secretary of State Paul Pate announced. Some 24,720 new businesses filed with the state in the year that ended June 30. That was 4.5% more than last year’s record of 23,649. A new Fast Track Filing system allows business to register in a few minutes, instead of over three weeks as in the past.
