Ames Tribune: Construction on the first phase of development for the planned CYTown entertainment district to be located north of Jack Trice Stadium in Ames is expected to start in the spring after the Iowa Board of Regents approved $28.5 million in spending today for Iowa State University. The board unanimously approved the university’s request. University and athletic leaders in September announced updated plans for the district — a $200 million, 3-acre development on land known now as Tent Row.
