The Iowa Supreme Court said today that it won't weigh in on emergency actions Gov. Kim Reynolds took early in the pandemic, noting Reynolds has now backed away from measures she once supported.

Des Moines Register: The Iowa Supreme Court said today that it won’t weigh in on emergency actions Gov. Kim Reynolds took early in the pandemic, noting Reynolds has now backed away from measures she once supported. The decision came in the case brought by Kansas City, Kan.-based Riley Drive Entertainment, owners of Tonic Bar in West Des Moines, Saints Pub + Patio in Waukee, and the Beaver Pub and since-shuttered Saints Pub + Patio in Beaverdale, as well as several other bar owners.
