Iowa unemployment rate stands at 2.4%

Nationally, employment in March stood at 3.8%. The number of unemployed Iowans increased to 40,500 in March from 40,000 in February. The total number of working Iowans increased to 1,665,600 in March. That figure is 5,400 higher than February and 28,000 higher than one year ago.
