Iowa’s average cash farmland rent declines to 2017 levels

67 wordsAll Latest News, Energy & Environment, Real Estate & DevelopmentCorridor Business Journal: Cash rental rates for Iowa farmland declined 1.4% to a statewide average of $219 per acre, according to the new ISU Extension and Outreach Cash Rental Rates for Iowa 2019 survey. The decrease rolls back a modest increase of $3 per acre in 2018 to 2017 levels. The 2018 increase was the first in the average cash rent recorded since at least 2015.
