It's official: The Iowa Beef Industry Council and the Iowa Cattlemen’s Association announced that the winner of their annual Best Burger in Iowa contest is Wood Iron Grille in Oskaloosa.

Des Moines Register: It’s official: The Iowa Beef Industry Council and the Iowa Cattlemen’s Association announced that the winner of their annual Best Burger in Iowa contest is Wood Iron Grille in Oskaloosa. Wood Iron Grille won for its Original Burger — freshly ground chuck and short rib with an 80:20 lean to fat ratio, cooked on a flat top and topped with applewood smoked bacon, sweet and tangy onion and jalapeno jam, and smoked cheddar cheese on a fresh toasted bun.
