Iowa’s construction unemployment rate falls
Iowa was among the three states in April with the lowest estimated not seasonally adjusted (NSA) construction unemployment rates, data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics shows. Iowa and Nebraska both had a 2% estimated NSA construction unemployment rate in April; Montana had the lowest rate at 1.7 %. It was Iowa’s second-lowest April rate on record. In April 2015, Iowa had a NSA construction unemployment rate of 1.8%.
