The IowaWORKS Center in Des Moines will be open until 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting Jan. 9 to accommodate visitors who can’t come during business hours. The center’s new hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday and Friday; 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday; and 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Jennifer Reha, central district manager, said the center will be offering new evening workshops for people who want to seek a different job. The center has moved to 200 Army Post Road.
