Iowa Workforce Development plans to move its IowaWORKS Center in Des Moines to a new location at 200 Army Post Road effective Nov. 20. The center is located at 430 E. Grand Ave. “When the lease at our current location was not renewed, we sought to identify the best solution for our new space,” said Beth Townsend, IWD director. “We are excited that our IowaWORKS Center in Des Moines is moving to a location that we believe will increase access to and enhance our services.” IowaWORKS, a partner of the American Job Center network, provides job seeker services such as employment searches, resume and cover letter assistance, mock interviews, and workforce training.
