IPTV gets national NETA honor
Iowa Public Television has received the 2017 National Educational Telecommunications Association Award for Production – Short Form for “Greetings from Iowa.” The digital series started in March and introduces viewers to people, places and stories from the state, according to a release. IPTV producer/director Tyler Brinegar is behind the program. “Greetings from Iowa” makes use of YouTube, Facebook and Instagram to reach a more diverse set of viewers, the release said, and is backed by Iowa Bankers and Redeker’s Home Furnishings and Flooring.
