ISU architect students receive award for work on Mitchellville prison
A project by Iowa State University landscape architecture students has won the Community Service Award of Excellence from the American Society of Landscape Architects. The awards recognize the top work of landscape architecture students in the United States and around the world. Iowa State architecture students are involved in an ongoing landscape project at the Iowa Correctional Institution for Women in Mitchellville. The project is led by assistant professor Julie Stevens. The entry focused on work completed in 2013 and 2014.
