Iowa State University has scored more spots in the Super Bowl turf teams than any other school, ISU reported.

Junior horticulture student Georgeanna Heitshusen, who studies turfgrass management, is the latest to be selected by Toro Co. to participate in a turfgrass training program. Two other ISU students were chosen to work at previous Super Bowls.

Super Bowl 50 takes place Feb. 7 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., home of the San Francisco 49ers.

Heitshusen, of North English, will work alongside the NFL crews on turfgrass maintenance, logo painting, field preparation for media day, halftime preparation and field cleanup. Previously, she has worked on the field at ISU’s Jack Trice Stadium, and she helped install a heated ribbon system at Michigan State University’s baseball and softball fields during an internship. She also interned with the Iowa Cubs.
