ISU researchers receive money for energy study 

Three Iowa State University professors have received a $1.7 award from the U.S. Department of Energy to develop a new approach for scheduling and pricing electric power. Sarah Ryan, professor of industrial and manufacturing systems, Dionysios Aliprantis, assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering, and Leigh Tesfatsion, professor of economics, mathematics and electrical and computer engineering, are trying to use methods to better predict energy usage.
