ISU students to compete in ‘pitch-off’-style contest Tuesday evening
Thirty-five Iowa State University students will have 90 seconds each to persuade the judges to buy in to their business on Tuesday evening. Seven competing students have already competed at the first College-by-College Pitch Off series, which automatically advanced them to the annual ISU Innovation Pitch Competition, reports the Iowa State Daily.The ISU Innovation Pitch Competition is open to the public and runs from 5 to 8:30 p.m. in the Maintenance Shop at the Memorial Union on campus. The best overall pitch will receive $1,000, although students could win in five other categories, including audience vote.
