The Association of Public and Land-grant Universities won the Talent Award given as part of the organization’s recent Innovation & Economic Prosperity University Awards. The award ISU won “honors an institution with exemplary initiatives in education and workforce development.” “At Iowa State, the talent development pipeline starts early, even before students reach the university, and can continue throughout an individual’s lifetime through our programs,” said Michael Crum, Iowa State’s vice president for economic development and business engagement. The organization lauded ISU’s 10-week accelerator program and other efforts, such as CyBiz Lab.
