West Des Moines-based ITA Group, a global provider of employee engagement solutions, has acquired Cooleaf, an Atlanta-based software company and its technology platform.

According to a news release, Cooleaf’s technology is now powering ITA Group’s platform for employee engagement programs, including new features aimed at keeping teams connected. The acquisition has added benefits such as the ability to integrate with other HR technology platforms and design onboarding paths ahead of time for new hires, the release said.

“Workforce engagement is one of the biggest challenges facing organizations around the globe, and our clients are asking for a complete employee engagement solution that can be implemented quickly,” Rob Danna, senior vice president, sales and marketing at ITA Group, said in a prepared statement. “The addition of the Cooleaf technology to ITA Group’s already established employee experience solutions creates a unique option for enterprise and mid-market companies looking for one, end-to-end agency that can support all their employee programs cohesively.”

Founded in 2016, Cooleaf’s platform helps brands capture employee sentiment, recognize and reward performance that aligns with company goals and measure employee experience with dashboards. Cooleaf co-founder Prem Bhatia said in the release that the technology is unique because of its “tailored strategies, flexibility and analytics.”
