David Spalding, dean of Iowa State University’s Ivy College of Business, announced the 2020 winners of the Ivy Women in Business Awards last week. The Champion Award was given to Renee Schaaf, president of Retirement Income Solutions at Principal Financial Group; the award honors individuals, businesses or organizations that inspire, lead and encourage women. The Inspiration Award was given to Berta Aldrich, managing director, chief marketing officer and chief human resources officer at the Private Advisor Group; the award recognizes women who have made a significant impact in their career. The Outstanding Young Alumna Award was given to Anna Florzak, product line manager for WNBA uniforms at Nike Inc.; the award honors alumnae 35 years of age or younger who have distinguished themselves early in their career for their achievements. The honorees will be recognized 5:30-7 p.m. on March 25 in the Reiman Ballroom, ISU Alumni Center, Ames. Learn more about the awards and recipients.
