Jansen to lead Grinnell Mutual
Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Co. has named Larry Jansen as its president and CEO. Jansen, who has been with the Grinnell-based company for 33 years, has served as the company’s senior vice president of direct underwriting and production. He replaces Steve Crawford, who retired in December as Grinnell Mutual’s president and CEO due to health concerns. A University of Iowa graduate, Jansen is a past president of the Mutual Insurance Association of Iowa, a trustee of the Iowa Automobile Insurance Plan and chairman of the Iowa Fair Plan.
