Mitchell, 28, served two terms in the Iowa House of Representatives beginning in 2019. In 2020, Mitchell founded Run GenZ, a nonprofit that assists and encourages conservative leadership across the country. He also is a senior account manager for MD Orthopedics, a family-owned company with over $5 million in annual sales, according to his LinkedIn profile. Mitchell, who has a bachelor’s degree from Drake University, will lead field operations across Region VII, which includes Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska. A HUD mission is increasing Americans’ access to affordable housing and expanding the country’s housing supply.
