Johnson named publisher of North Iowa newspapers
Quad-City Times: Davenport-based Lee Enterprises recently announced that Quad-City Times Advertising Director Janet Johnson was named publisher of the Globe-Gazette in Mason City, the Summit-Tribune in Forest City and Britt, and the Mitchell County Press News in Osage. The appointment is effective Aug. 5. Johnson was named advertising director of the Quad-City Times in 2017 and also oversees advertising of the Dispatch-Argus in Moline, Ill., and the Muscatine Journal in Muscatine.
