Johnston’s population is one the rise
Johnston’s population increased 18.4 percent to 20,460 between 2010 and a special census that was conducted this year, according to a release. As a result, the city stands to gain an additional $1.35 million in road use tax funding between 2017 and 2020, when the next decennial census will be conducted.
