KemX gets up to $1.9 million in tax credits

KemX Global’s Boone operation, which will produce pharmaceutical-grade glycerin and non-GMO cooking oils, will receive up to $1,875,500 in tax credits, the Iowa Economic Development Authority board decided Friday. KemX’s $27 million capital investment will create 41 jobs paying at least $21.58 per hour.
