If you didn’t catch the first day of Jump-Start Your Retirement Days last Friday, there’s still time for you (or your employees or a colleague) to get free personalized answers to retirement savings questions, courtesy of Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine and the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors.

On Thursday, Aug. 30, Walt Mozdzer of Syverson Strege & Co. will work with other NAPFA-registered financial advisers from across the country to answer consumer retirement questions from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time. The free service can be accessed by calling toll-free, (888) 919-2345, or by e-mailing your questions to jumpstart@kiplinger.com to receive a telephone call from a NAPFA adviser on the 30th.

Over the past four years, the Jump-Start event has provided more than 33,000 consumers across the country with more than 4,500 hours worth of free financial advice.

“It is incredibly satisfying to be able to take a little time and help people address their pressing retirement planning questions,” Mozdzer said. “I hope people take advantage of this free event.”
