Eric Kohlsdorf, owner and president of Prisma Strategies in Des Moines, was recently elected to a one-year term as president-elect of the National Association of Health Underwriters. With more than 100,000 members, NAHU is a trade organization for health insurance agents and brokers. Kohlsdorf, who has 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, has been a member of NAHU since 1992 and has held leadership positions at the local, state and national levels. He served three terms as chairman of the Healthy and Well Kids in Iowa (Hawk-I) board of directors and stepped down at the end of his term earlier this year. He is on track to be named president of NAHU in June 2023 during the organization’s national convention to be held in New Orleans, which would make him the first Iowan to hold this position in the association’s 93-year history.
